Crazy
I'll tell you what is Crazy - the song Crazy by Gnarls Barkley being declared the song of 2006. I am officially out of the music loop. IMHO - that song is the pits. Have a Happy New Year! I hope everyone drinks so much that they forget that Crazy ever existed.

Happy Holidays from Satellite Radio
Hey gang, I hope everyone is having a great holiday season. I went home to Michigan and saw my great fam. I decided to drive the 8.5 hours instead of flying and renting a car. For the trek, I decided to activate the XM satellite radio in my car. Yes - I did take my iPod, but one can get bored with their own selection. I like satellite radio because the channels stay the same, the reception is great (even in the Alleghany Mountains) and most importantly there are no commercials. Unfortunately, XM has the same affliction as terrestrial radio - they play the same songs over and over and over. In 1997, before satellite radio, my college roommate and I drove from Boston to Ohio and back - every station we tuned to was playing R.Kelly's I Believe I Can Fly. I think even country stations were playing it. Well on my trip to Michigan this week I heard these same songs over and over and over:
1. Ciara - Promise
2. Justin Timberlake (any song from FutureSex - I have this CD and I love it but it may not get any more spins because it is now burned into my brain)
3. Nelly Furtado
4. Akon (I Wanna Love You and Smack That)
For those of you that listen to XM, I was listening to Channels 20, 21, 65-68
