New Growth

I created this blog with the intent to capture the struggle and glory of giving up hair relaxers and growing my natural hair. Hence the name newgrowth. I wonder why I never did. Maybe because there is so much struggle and little pleasure that it is too painful and sad to write about at present. No one wants to read a tragedy involving my hair struggles. Then I think to myself...this is my biggest concern...the texture of my hair...when there are people in the world who are suffering the effects of the tsunami. things that make you go hmmm.
